heres some of the work in progress got the entire body off, and cleaned everything. Hopefully sand blasting or just going to wire brush everything. Anyone know of a really good frame paint to use???

Yeah. On an even fire, you want to move the dist you just move all the wires over a position. Not so on an odd-fire, you have to go 2 positions, and before you time it you have to make sure the wires are on the right position, not just the right firing order. It's what was causing all that pass side backfiring when I first started up the motor last spring. After that then I agree, the same.

I'm having a similar problem right now. Was it making sure the plugs are in the right order or moving them over two poles that fixed the backfiring from the passenger side. I have a wicked popping sound from my passenger side that just does not want to go away. My plugs are in the right order I'm just hessitant to swap them over two poles.
