Hi all, can you please post pics of your stock dash and tell me if my headlight switch pulls or twists to turn it on. And tell me where to go and order a new one. My switch is rusted in my '61 CJ5.

Sorry - no pics, but it pulls out. Halfway for parking lights, full out for headlights. Got mine from Kaiser-Willys Auto Supply. Have you tried some penetrating oil or the like? Mine was rusted pretty bad when I got it, but works good now! :)

Dash looks awesome duke. I like the placement of the other gauges you have there.

3rd sticky down from the top gives some pretty good recommendations.

I will also recommend Kaiser-Willys. They are local to me and have helped me out a lot with my Jeep and getting the right parts, lending me tools, etc. It's a great bunch of guys over there, with good prices too. Check out their website at http://www.kaiserwillys.com/ or give them a call at 1-888-648-4923. Ask for Mike. :)

I think the price at Walck's is a bit cheaper ($16.95) for the same switch.

I picked up a light switch at NAPA. It's just a generic light switch.

Got mine from Checkers or AutoZone, can't remember which. They're right across the street from each other.:D Standard pull on light switch with screw terminals. Something like $8.Looks just like the old one. Including the knob! :):coffee::hurrican:
