who has the best price on new lo back seats?

    I think most will say the Bestop Trailmax Classics are about as close to original as you can get. I am planning on getting a set myself pretty soon, and most catalogues I have seen them in have them for about $140 each.

    A friend just put some in his '76 Cj. Got rid of his high backs-they interfered with his cowboy hat while cruising the ranch roads.

    I sat in those seats when Baby John had them in his CJ5.

    For me - at 6'3", they were awful. The backs had a horizontal pipe that cut me right under the shoulderblades.

    Seems like others had similar impressions of them - I'd recommend a search.

    I bought Rugged Ridge low back seats from cyberjeep.com for about $150 each and am very please with them. They are not exact replacements for my 75, but they are comfortable and well made. Jeff
