I am trying to find out if the wiper pivot gasket goes. The picture in the manual does not indicate if it goes infront the pivot arm on the outside of the windshield or behind the windshield frame. Any help would be great.
    Thanks in advance.

Mine was missing when I got the Jeep, I only have the cover and wiper motor itself. Used a little rtv around the top and corners of the cover to keep the water out. Went onto windshield gasket so can be rolled off with thumb if needed. When hosing the Jeep down I only saw 2 maybe 3 drips inside. Good enough for me.
    Just my 2 cents though

The gasket goes between the pivot and the w/s frame. Mine were torn and had to make some out of rubber. You might look at rubber washers at the hardware store. You know the kind in the plumbing section for fixing faucets and such. I had the rubber on hand and had a few 's so didn't want to drive. Nickmil

I made my outside seals outa vacuum or fuel line (can't remember) cut to length to compress for good fit. No leaky. But my wipers are the vacuum type.
