PO make shackles for the back to rail the jeep for a SOA setup. I don't have the old shackle to but back in then I put on the 2.5 BDS kit and make it SUA again.
Should I use what he has and cut and redrill the holes to 2.75" or order new ones (from who)?
It does not look like he messed with the shackles in the front.
I don't want to tie up much money in shackles right now because I'm still thinking about adding .5 to .75 longer shackles if I need them from clearance on 33x tires.

This board is the best and I thank all of you for the help given.

Looking at 4wd site it says Warrior Products Greasable 1.5" Lift Shackles, I know that for what ever length you at to the shackle you only get half the lift. So is this set 3 inches longer giving 1.5 lift?
How much before I have to start shimming things?

I just put I think it was 1.5 on mine. The steering got scare over 50mph. So I went done and had the castor checked it was @ a neg 2 (factory spec for my 75 is pos 4) So I got some 6 degree sims made huge difference! I was running 65 to 70 lastnigt with one hand on the wheel agian. So after you put you shackles on get your castor checked.

I Have 1 1/2" shackle lift. The caster angle was all out of whack. PM McGruff. He'll make you a set of 5* angle shims for $26 ( if I remember correctly). They work awesome. Fixed my squirrely problem instantly.
