How difficult is it to unbolt the body to level it out? Let me explain. I have had a difficult time getting my clutch free play adjusted. I was looking at it closely yesterday (finally warming up in Michigan) and the PO has welded new steel floor boards in but I don't beleive they are level and this is causing the clutch pedal to not return far enough back to allow me the proper clearance at the throw out bearing. (I think anyway)

I was going to try and raise the front of the tub to make it level and see if that will help me get the clutch adjusted properly. Is this difficult to do? I don't need to take the entire body off, just level the front.

That should be fairly easy if the bolts come out easy. Worst case is the bolts break or need to be cut. I bought a chunk of body mount rubber from Krage motorsports to mount my tub. It comes in a tube, so you could cut the width needed to raise the front of the tub. you could also shim with large washers.
