In the jeep history research section the question titled " hardtop I.d. " would anyone have the top shown ? I just bought one but the rear corners of the fiberglass top are damaged. I would like a picture of the rear corners so I could repair them. Is there supposed to be a drain channel or is the lip the same contour as the rest of the top ?

If it is the fiberglass top that looks like a toyota land cruiser, then the lips are the same all the way around. I used to ahve one and the front corners were mangled. I tried to patch them but didnt do a good job, given i was new at trying to repair the thing. I dont have pics of them.

So there was no way for water to run off except slamming on the brakes and making a tidal wave ?

Yup. You could make slits in some locatinos to let the water drain. But your top probably has the mold and mildew that is typical for those drip rails if it is a msot climate.

It's not green, it came from Wyoming. I think I will add drainage to prevent growing moss.

Oh, and take the time to purchase stainless steel bolts to bolt the top to the sides.
