Are you meaning a bumper for a multi mount or a bumper for a solid mount? For that year, I think you're on your own...

    Ghetto fabrilicious...

Made it out of a warn bumper for a 80's K10 pickup. Notched it so it would slide in to the frame rails, welded a 1/4" spacer on either side, Notched it to clear the saginaw steering box on mone, and locked it down with some grade-8, 1/2" hardware.

Warn makes a winch mounting plate for a 72-75 that fits well.

    drexotic Happy now?!?!?

I've used this as well . . . You may need to drill a hole or two depending on your Jeep. I think I had to grind off a couple of rivets as well.

Dr Dan???? What's that lump on your grill????

Dr.Dan, very nice. That thing is mean looking. 73CJ5, I think I will go sith something like that. Then cut the stocker down to a stubby. Did the Mile Marker fit on the Warn plate with no problem? What mile marker is it? Can't tell with the glare. Thanks again all.

Looks like where the grill was pushed out and something added for the electric cooling fan to clear. Nickmil

    Bingo.

Man every time I post up a pic, someone asks me about that. Short nose 70' body on a 72 chassis with a AMC 304 behind it dosent leave much room for a clutch fan. So i've got an electric pusher fan in front of an aluminum rad. The "nosecone" covers the electric motor. Works great, but sounds like an air raid siren. I can't claim credit for that little piece of engineering though. That was the po's design.

Funny thing is, I've gotten so used to it that 9 times out of 10 I have to look at the picture to know what you're talking about. :)

I think I should paint some shark teeth on it like an old P-38 mustang.

This was a costco winch with mounting plate. I modified it a little so the tires wouldn't rub on it.

I used a piece of 9" "C" channel that is 3/8" thick. the roller fairlead is made out of 2"x 5/16" angle. I welded 2"x3/8" to my frame (afer I boxed it with 1/4" plate) to mount the which plate with 6 1/2" grade 8 bolts.

That looks similar to what my friend had on his 77 CJ-7. The setup came with the factory option Ramsey electric winch--a heavy monster. It extended the bumper out a couple inches.
