I took my axle out to install the Detroit locker and new axles. After studying this picture. I think my springs are on wrong. I installed them same way the front is. now I'm not sure if they are right. The picture shows how it was before removal.

When I removed my springs. I forgot witch end went to the front. I measured the spring and they were the same length from the pin to the ends of the spring. Seems the springs were different from front to rear. So. One side of the spring has one spring clamp. The other end has two. My question is. witch way should they go? Two clamps forward or two clamps toward the back?:?

My REAR stock CJ 5 springs have two (2) clamps forward, one clamp (1) aft on a tweleve (12) spring bundle.

Forward springs have two (2) clamps both fore and aft.
My BDS lifted springs on my YJ are the same, fore and aft.
