Hey I have a 73 Jeep Cj5. It has 5 different positions in the transfer case. I believe they are: 2w high, 4w high, 4w low, 2w low, and neutral. Does anyone know what transfer case this is. My owners manual didn't list them as having 2 wheel low. Thanks for the help!

'73 had a Dana 20 in it. I'm not seeing any other options, but who knows with jeep...
    ----------------

If you have a Dana 20 of '73 vintage,
(one T-case handle, handle will be a flat strap instead of round bar)

4 Hi. All the way forward will be 4 Hi,
2 Hi. Next back will be 2 Hi.
Nutral, Third back will be natural,
    4 Low.Bottom will be 4 low.

Someone may have switched knobs on you since the threads are common with most other shifters.

    2L is not there officially. The Shift pattern front-to-back is 4HI 2HI N 4LO.

but many people are able to find a 2L between N and 4L on an old T-case, though its not suppose to be there. Just one of those jeep things;)

That's exactly where 2 wheel low seems to be. Thanks for the help!

Mine kind of wants to stop there, but I don't let it.
If you ever see the engagement dogs on the T-case gears, you won't let yours either! Good way to break an otherwise virtually unbreakable D-20!
