frame repair opinions please.

    Here are a couple of pictures of an front spring hanger that needs repair on a frame im working with.

    Im just trying to get some ideas of a proper way to fix it before i make a move. Any and all ideas appreciated.

    Wow, little extra flex the wrong way. Chances are rust has taken some of the metal in that area. I'd strap the unbent side about a foot in both directions from the bend w/ 1/4" or 3/8" plate, cut out the bent section and any marginal areas that weren't bent, then strap that side and completely box in the whole area. BTW what caused that?:v6:

    The rest of the frame is in almost perfect condition, very little rust also. Thats why im trying to fix this problem. The guy I got the frame from said the Jeep was hit by another vehicle in the left front wheel and the hanger was the only real problem. From looking it over that looks to be true. The corners are square and nothing else looks suspect.
