I am trying to rebuild the Ramsey pto on my 5 and I am having no luck finding a new seal for it. The seal that was in there is marked 'Victor 60536'. I haven't been able to find this seal anywhere. Does anyone know of a source for them or have a cross reference to another seal that will work.

    Thanks,
    -Dean

I believe that the output seal on the PTO is the same as the input seal on the winch itself (please correct me if i'm wrong!). I have one new in a box (from who knows how long ago) but i'll take a look at it and see if the part # is different, maybe you can use that one to cross reference.

    -edit-

Well i seem to have lost it, sorry about that.

Any decent auto parts store should be able to help you out. Especially with a Victor P/N

Herm has a lot of stuff, he'll want model#, maybe a serial. Send him an e-mail. Great guy to deal with.

Take this seal to a good auto parts store and they can certainly cross reference. Seals like these are not application specific, heck if nothing else take it to a tractor dealer, they can do it I'm sure.

Hey, I rebuilt my Ramsey PTO a little while ago. It's the one for a front mount winch but seal is the same.

victor #60536 = Federal Mogul #450185 (Large seal)
    Federal Mogul #205 (PTO Bearings)
victor #60120 (Small seals for 3/4" shafts on winches as well as some PTO's)

    Hope that helps.:)
