I'm not sure what to do with these gas lines. Living here in AZ it seems they get dried out kind of quickly and I have to replace them. Is that something that I should just expect to do every once in a while? Yesterday I went and bought some Goodyear fuel injection hose that seems to be much better quality than what I have now, any good line suggestions?

Also, the last time I replaced the lines from the tank to the carburator I ran them the same way the previous owner had them but it doesn't seem right. They just sort of flop around and lay across the frame, transmission etc. It seems like they will rub too much when off road and maybe cause a problem. Should I work up some clamps or something to secure the lines?

The old girl is finally seeing daylight again so it's time to get rid of the bugs. Thanks for the help!

I would consider getting rid of the hose and bending up some hard line to fit.

    Love the Jeep, looks great.

Nice looking Jeep! The Swampers look good.

I've been trying to get rid of as much rubber hose on the fuel lines as possible. I've been running Gates fuel hose, but they start cracking after a couple of years too.

As for the lines flopping around, I'd secure them to make sure they don't flop around and get pinched, bent, etc.
