Its alive!

After ten years of sitting dormant collecting dust (rust?) as yard art my 1968 CJ5 :v6: is finally alive! Ahh.. I love the smell of raw fuel and exhaust fumes in the morning.

 

I have always wanted to do this so here goes

She is my mechanic! (One of four...I have my own pit crew).

The Jeep on the other hand, is looking forward to an HEI distributor, a Motorcraft 2100 swap and an OD from Herm. Its a enough to keep me busy for the next few weekends. I still have to hunt down an E-brake setup and the PTO winch that disappeared when my brother drove the Jeep last (a decade ago). Its a stand-in replacement for my 1965 Mustang that had a tree fall on it last fall.

 

I'd love to go to Uwharrie, but i figure i better try to break the Jeep some where local first. Its a long walk back to Atlanta.
