Frame-mount master cylinder

    Wasn't sure if this should be here or in Fabrication, but.... Tired of trying to get a wrench on the bolt head that holds the cover in place on the frame mounted MC? I took a large washer, cut it in half and welded it to the bolt on my partner's MC while we were putting in a new unit. Works very well, and you can still get a wrench on it if it gets really tight.

    That would be a wing bolt:) . A wing nut threads onto something. That master cylinder uses a bolt to hold the cover on, not a nut.:beer: Nickmil

    Can't draw worth beans, put I picture a guy standing there with that half washer arrangement welded to his scalp!
