Anybody ever had problem getting a Bestop Supertop to fit? It looks good everywhere except for the middle bow seems to be too high (or the windows too small) buy about 1-1/2". If I zip in one window in the other window upper zipper doesn't reach to top's zipper by about 1-1/2". I can't figue out how to make it any better becasue the door jamb is set in place where it should be. Only thing I can think of is to some of the female end of the center bow to shorten the distance when the two are together. Any suggestions?

Pics would certainly make the trouble shooting from a distance much easier

Do you have the rear hoop on it indexed on the tightest nothcin in the bow? When a top is new, i had to put the rear hoop a little relaxed (not that tight) and install the windows, then you can let teh top sit in the sun for a while and slowly adjust the bow up to the highest notch. If i remember on my first top i couldnt even go to the top notch

I had it fully relaxed and it was still missing byh 1-1/2". I spoke with Bestop and they seem to think it might need to stretch that much. THey suggested leaving the top in the sun for two hours and then try installing it. Did you guys experience the top stretching that much?

you will be surprised how much a top can stretch. i would do the sun trick for 2 hours and then see, if not, then i would press bestop to get you new windows. Only other thing i can think of is the problem with both back windows or one? If one then it may be over too much ot one side. But the sun will soften up the windows to stretch, and remember to put the actual top i nthe sun, that will provide some stretching also.

It is hard to say if the windows are short or the top is from side to side is short or the middle bow is too long. Any chance of getting some dimension off yours. I would be curious to the size of the bows and the windows.
