What is this? cj6 with rear doors?

Hey guys, was poking around on ebay and found this, Item #130106147718 I'm not trying to sell /buy this I just haven't seen one before and woundered what they where called? The jeep thats in the listing is diff. you have to look at the additional pics he has, its one of the other "parts" jeeps. Really cool I thought! Is it a cj6 or millitary something?:?

 

Never seen anything like it. Looks like door cutouts though. Strange. The gas input is in the CJ5 position. I've got a pic here in a book that shows an M170 With the gas input farther back (in the area of that door opening) Could be a home brew I guess.

I remember reading somewhere that Willys-Brazil (and I think Willys-South Africa) made a 4 door CJ6 model. I'll have to dig up that book and see if I can get some more info.

Mahindra in India made some like that.

 

My guess is it's an owner mod. Could be useful on a hunting property or such - back seat access in a CJ-6 is no better than in a CJ-5 normally.

 

I'd say definitely a do it yourself job. looks like they cut the upper part of the 20" CJ-6 panel out. Note the grab bar/support running in front and back of the rear seat to hold the remaining panels up.
