Has any one installed the ford steering conversion from herm the overdrive guy on a early cj5 with a stock 225? also does it require welding?

I'm about to, still waiting on parts. Call Herm and talk to him he is really a great guy who knows a ton! 360-256-3843 It should be a bolt on, one bolt through the frame. Two reasons I'm useing his is because I'm running a PTO winch up front and also with this setup there's hardly any frame flex. Good luck.

Regarding your question, how or what steering column are you planning on adapting to your Ford steering conversion? I made the switch to Herm's steering and as the guys said, it is pretty straight forward. Now I need to adapt my steering column. Any input on how you are going to address this would be appreciated.
