I just bought a 66 cj5 with a 225 V6. I'm having a hard time finding a mechanical fuel pump for it. I have gotten conflicting info on which one it is. It has no return line. Anyone know where i can get one? part #? thanks

The single line pumps are hard to come by - get the one with the return and simply block it off.

That's what I did. I used a vacumn port cap (rubber) with a hose clamp.

I had a hard time finding one for mine....I have the return line.
I know that Napa has the one without the return but can't give you a part #.
Try having them look under a 66 Buick Skylark or something like that.
    Good Luck.

there are a couple of pumps that you could use. the one airshipdoc mentioned napa #m3643 which is also the number used by carter for their pump or the airtex #40001. these pumps would be use if you have hard lines running to them or would need fittings installed.

or you could use pump #40451 if you have rubber lines running to the pump.

There wouldn't be a Buick of the same year with the same engine...

GM didn't build it, Kaiser did.

There was no overlap between the two companies building the engines, Buick sold the tooling and rights to Kaiser, then bought back from AMC in the '70s, see the V6 Page of the tech section for more.
