    I own a 1973 CJ5 360 V8.

What is the best soft soft that I can buy for my jeep?

    Thanks all

I just finished struggling through this as well.

I ended up with the Besttop Tiger top. Specialty Top Company, what was left af Kayline, closed in November. That leaves only Bestop doing tops for the intermediate body CJ5's.

I talked to Beachwood Canvas, and they would do a civilian version of their M38A1 top, but it would be closer to $1500.00 when all is said and done, compared to the $610 for the Bestop from Quadratech.

I do not like the paddle handle, as I think it takes away from the classic look, but what can you do?

That other $900, and some, can be burned in a lot of other ways on this project...:)

After all my research I went with a Supertop. I just installed it this last weekend. It's a far superior product to the Specialty Top Company top I had on my Bronco, and even better than the Supertop I took off the Jeep when I first bought it (removed due to sun damage.)

I got mine at Quadratec. They will bargain on price, a lot. :)

All I did was "suggest" there might be a lower price, and Quadratech knocked off $45....
