on board welder

iv seen instructions on ebay for sale on how to build an on-board welder for practily nothing. Anybody know how to do it? id be intrested in putting one in my blazer for work sometimes stuff breaks on the job

My favorite is mounting an alternator with no regulator in it on the inside of your fender. When you need to weld, hook up a belt from the altenator to a pulley welded ontop of the main alternator). Get some rods and cables or even use jumper cables. With the engine at 2500 rpm, you should get a nice weld.
