I think wrangler spring are longer and wider. stock spring and spring under the axels probly wont give you much lift if any.
with a lot of work and fabercation going spring over will give you a lot of lift probly enough for 35" tires or more. this setup will be very lightly sprong meaing a lot of travel but very soft.
I think for a biginer I would sugest after market lift springs for a lift or just get your spring rebuilt or rearched this would probly be the cheepest.:)

Search old posts. Look in the tech info http://www.earlycj5.com/tech/SpringsShocks/yjconv/index.shtml
I'd expect stock Wrangler springs should give you the same ride height as a stock Wrangler. Lifted Wrangler springs will be higher.

Do some research before re-arcing springs. Usual opinion is that they sag back to flatness quickly. Replacement springs are not that expensive.

I have a full set of wrangler lift springs in mine. The hardest part of putting them in was cutting the old mounts off. The springs are 3.5" BDS springs with 1" lift shackles. The tires on it are pro comp 35-12.50-15 that are about 33" tall. I am going to cut the shackles down to very close to stock length.

have you considered add a leafs? this corrects sags and provide additional lift and inexpensive. (rides a bit rough though)
