I just put mine on jack stands with a 5gal bucket under the pinion to hold it up. I don't see how you could get a solid connection to that jack with your axle. Seems like it would be kinda tippy.

The $27 only buys you the top part. You still would need to buy the jack.

I too use jack stands and usually a stick of wood or last time I quickly welded up a support for the pinion, since I wanted zero degrees on my brackets.

I use sawhorses and a vise looking clamp for sawhorses it clamps to the sawhorse and then a second clamp holds the axle tube.:)

I also use jack stands and a bucket. Patrick posted pics of a nice attachment his dad made for an engine stand in the Fabricators Forum to do what you want. Nickmil

Kinda a combination of a short folding chair, but not really too short, and fairly tall jackstands.:)

I used metal sawhorses with a 2x4 bolted vertically and a half moon cutout. I think it was recommended by sdcj6.

That thing looks like a good way to dump your axle on the floor. Sorta like my son balancing a pencil on the tip of his nose! Jackstands.

I used saw horses to build axels and left the spring perches off so I could set the pinon angel under the Jeep. put u bolts on loose to hold axels to springs.then put pinon down farther then I needed and put a jack under the pinon and jacked untill I got the angel I wanted.
