Leaf spring wraps

    I have new leaf springs from 4WD and there is 1 wrap on 1 side of the springs and 2 on the other. Should the 2 wrap side go towards the shackle or the fixed mount?

    Check them against the original springs according to length, since the axle doesn't sit exactly in the center of the spring. Your first clue that you have the springs in backward will be when the driveshaft won't bolt up because the axle is either too far forward or rearward to work. AMHIK. :oops:
