F Head Crank Pulley Nut....

    Hey folks,

    Is the F-head crank pulley nut (the BIG one) a special thread of some sort?
    If not, what is it and is it something common?
    I need a new one and was wondering if I could get it locally before I ordered one.

    it may b the 1 they had a hand crank 4 do u have a hole in the front bumper that lines up with that ?

    Hi folks,

    Thanks for the responses and the picture link.
    Mine didn't have a hand crank.
    The PO put a big morphodite nut on there (barely on) and boogered up the pulley and key.
    No big deal, easy to fix.
    I was wanting everyone's input on the nut.

    The nut is available here in town at Swamp's Jeep parts.
