My speedometer works fine when I first take off, but after driving for about 10 minutes it stops. Almost like it gets warm or hot then stops. If I let the jeep sit for a while and start out again all is fine for about another 10 minutes, then it stops again. Has anyone else had this problem or got any advice?:(

I had the same problem. I replaced mine. I am not happy with the Indian made replication. These folks can fix it http://www.speedometershop.com/. The quoted me something like $ 120 to completely rework and calibrate mine. (a year ago)

before you replace it, remove it from the dash, there is a small hole at the base of where the cable attaches to the back of the case. it is for lubrication. put a drop or two of medium weight oil in it and work it a bit back and forth. return it to the dash and see if that helps. $.02

Check to see that the speedo cable is not broken. It may jam together some of the time then work apart etc.
