Trying to find a carb for my 231, is the 225 carb jetted the same? I have found some on ebay. I have a carb, but I don't even know if a rebuild would help it looking at it.

Any carb that works for a 225, should be fine on a 231. Having been down this road recently though, I'd suggest skipping eBay and picking up a rebuilt from your local FLAPS. In the long run I think it would be cheaper and easier.

Finding the right carb on eBay is difficult. The 2G was made in a variety of sizes in both large and small versions and it's often quite difficult to determine which is which using eBay pics.

For the V6? Only one carb I'd recommend. A 2G, why use anything else unless it's a 4bbl.?
