SM420 shifter snapped @ the base

    The shifter rod on my SM420 snapped @ the base. Who makes a good replacement shifter rod? I don't want to weld/repair the old rod. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

    Big D, you might contact Novak adapters, I don't know if they make a shift cane for the SM420, but I do know they make a straight shift cane for some other transmissions so you can bend it the way you like. Try

    Yep, Novak has a cane for the SM420, I just checked. Posimoto, your rig is sweet! I'm just getting started with mine. I worked as a relief vet in Kings Beach a little bit in '94'. Nice area. I want to do the Rubicon sometime in the future so maybe we will get a chance to meet.
