ou can use the modern Ujonit style axle shaft in there. So you can find one , do a want ad in the forum. As for the knuckle, you probably wont be able to drill em out. Fortunately you can also find a knuckle to replace the broken one. Do a search for Knuckle stud upgrade. This eliminates the bolts to hold the spindle on, you will add Dana 30 studs and you will not have an issue with the wheel coming off anymore. But dont worry, you can find the parts, they are not that scarce.

    Knuckle stud upgrade time: http://earlycj5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2367&highlight=Knuckle+Stud

Are you referring to the U-joint in the axle? What year is your Jeep? Does it have a D27 or D25 (I can see the subject, just wondering if you're sure)? Might have a Bendix or Rzeppa unit swapped in or if it's an earlier 25 it could be stock, maybe. Just buy a later D27 Cardan Cross unit put that in. :)

First, which joint style do you have?

If it's the normal Cardan cross get it at NAPA. If it's Bendix or Rzeppa, upgrade to a Cardan cross style axle shaft.

Does it look like a "normal" u-joint? Or like an air cooled VW CV joint with a bunch of balls in a cage? If it's normal that's the Cardan cross style, go to NAPA. If not post a WTB or check the Willys Tech parts board for a later Dana 27 axle shaft. It'll drop right in and have the later style u-joint.

Well, if you're going to keep jumping it, you might as well buy a few more axles while you're at Napa. You're gonna need them.
