Does anyone know where I can find a new roller fairlead? I have an original Ramsey PTO, but two of the rollers on the fairlead are seized and really banged up. The one I have is like the one in the picture. It is steel and mounts on top of the bumper. It also is the length of the drum. I can buy a new one, but all the ones I have found are flush mount and are not long enough. If I were to use one of these, all the cable would pile up in the center of the drum, not to mention, I would have to make up something to top mount it.

I see your problem, could a new one be mounted to the bumper so you would have more room to spread out the cable? Have you checked any local Ramsey/PTO dealers for a new one? Here's a pic of mine bolted to the bumper but my Koenig is shorter than the Ramsey judging from the pics.

Maybe using a bracket similar to this? http://www.4wheelerssupply.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/71438

I think you will have a hard time finding a replacement roller fairlead wide enough for your Ramsey winch. Your best bet is to take it to a machine shop and let them have a go at it. They can straighten the rollers and frame so it operates properly.

    Good luck.
