No. A crossover pipe that runs across, connecting both sides, before the mufflers, making kind if a "H" out of the system. Old street rod trick. Really smooths out the choppy sound of the odd-fire engines. It's used often with V8 diesel pickups when custom exhaust is added too.

$65 with free shipping but the summit handling fee still applies. Let me know if you want a better picture I can take one tonight. Two of these are sitting on my radial arm saw awaiting installation. The mufflers are stainless and about 14" long.

OK, I didn't read every word of this thread, but the first mufflers posted are pretty decent. They're not straight through and not that loud. I had them on my Dauntless...it sounds almost like a V8 at idle, but does get a bit louder and sounds like a v6 when you step on it. They're on my F-250 right now behind a 300 straight 6 (dual exhaust) and it gives it a nice tone also. Just my .02

Yup- they have to be a reversion type (serves as a spark arrestor)

I personally like the Flowmasters- they are a spark arrestor, can be "tuned" and don't take up much space. (The weld-ons are pretty cheap, as well)
