This past weekend I tried to install the Gamma Goat lights on my M416 trailer. I tried to hook it up to my M37 which is a stock 24Volt system as is the new wiring harness on the M416 trailer. I was able to get the left light to work: the trun signal, brake light and the drive light. All worked as it is on my truck.

On the right side all I could get to work was the drive light. I think I tried just about everything I could think of; switching lights, playing with differnt wiring numbers, putting the left wiring harnes on the right side, etc. I still can't get them to give me a brake light or turn signal.

Please help. Also if you can post a picture of the Gamma Goat lights on your trailer. My buddy thinks that because we are using them instead of the correct M series light is the reason we can't get them to work,

    Thanks

I had similar troubles with the GG's on my trailer, but it wasn't the lights at all.
Correct me if I misunderstood you...
    1. you are getting power to the left side
    2. the actual light used on the right side DOES work when used on the left side
Check to see if you have power to the right side on the actual connector on the tow vehicle. If so, then see if is on the harness itself.

My situation was the connections on the wire harness from the tow vehicle to the trailer. On one side it was making good contact then on the other it wasn't. 2+ hours later I figured it out.

Also, check the grounding on the right side bracket.

On the left side I have: Brake Lights
    Turn signal Light
    Drive Lights

On the Right side all I get are: Drive Lights

In other words when I put on the lights they both go on, these are what I call my drive lights.

However, I have no turn signal for the right side and when I put my foot on the brake to stop the brake light does not go on as it does on the left side.

This is driving me nuts as to why I can't it to work. What I thought was going to be an hour of hooking up the lights has turn into an adventure. But I am a man on a mission, one way on another I will get this to work.

    Hopefully with your help.

    Thanks

    Carmen

as stated above double check power into the vehicle side of the harness then check power on the trailer side of the harness at the connector. Just because one side has a good connection doesnt mean the other does. check it at points along the harness too, could be a broken wire

also check ground at the light housing on the right side.

As Walldog posted - there's no magic to the Gama Goat lights - you have a simple wiring issue. Your best bet tracking the problem down is to use a meter or inexpensive test lamp. Even a spare 24V bulb with a couple of wires taped securely to it will work. Pull the connections on the side that's not working, and run the turn indicator. If you don't get (flashing) power to the bullet connector, with the other side of the test lamp or meter grounded to the chassis, the trouble is up at the switch, in the harness, or right at the connector. If you get power, but the Gama lamp doesn't work when plugged in, the problem is in the lamp, or its ground connection.
