I put the Black diamond 3" lift on my 70 cj-5. I like it very much, its been on for 2 years now and even with a very heavy 350 buick the front springs havent sagged. The springs came with mil. wrap eyes and pads between the springs. U-bolts and bushings and shocks were included in my kit. The shocks are ok but could be beter.
That being said, this is the only aftermarket suspension I have ever perchased. The P.O. of my Jeep had installed a helper leaf lift kit, each leaf was 7/8" thick tappering down to 3/8" at the ends witch were within 2" of the shackles!! The tires were the suspention.

I'm buying one for my '70 CJ. Quadratech is $488 and 4wd hardware is $479. I've seen cheaper but they don't come w/ shocks. These are the full package springs, shocks, bushings, and u-bolts. Don't know which is cheaper s&h, haven't got that far yet.:v6:

Have you looked on Superlifts or Black Diamonds web page?
    They are worth the coin.

You can get just the springs, bushings, and U-bolts for ~$320 somewhere. I'll have to look around and get back to you. I think you can use your stock shocks as long as you limit your articulation (ooh, big word).:v6:
