Hello everyone - new to the family, just acquired a '67 cj6A and need some help with basic stuff - The jeep has 3 speed on the tree and one floor shifter, no lock-out hubs. Does anyone know the shift pattern for the floor shifter? Also looking for a good source for parts for this model. Thanks

    should be

Depends on what parts your looking for. Tux parts are hard to come by. Somewhere like this page is your best bet. Other normal jeep parts are usually easy to come by. Search around and you'll find alot of info on here.

    by the way.

Welcome from a fellow tux owner in Ohio.

What parts might you need? I may just have a piece or 3 available. :)

Welcome. Is it just me or do the words "Jeep" and "Tuxedo" sound funny together?

Thanks, anyone have any info on the correct tailgate for a '67 tuxedo park? Mine has no lettering on it, just the license plate light. It is very rusty, holey along the bottom. What should I use for a replacement tailgate?

That's correct - mid 60's should be blank and the light is a Tux item.

It was the first attempt at moving the CJ5/6 from a utilitarian workhorse to a slightly more upscale 2nd car. Consider the times, early to mid 60s... one-car families were more common than 2-car families. Calling it the Tuxedo Park model brought a more sophisticated image to mind :) ... one that would be more acceptable as a "car" instead of a small truck. :)
