    Hi Pete -

    Welcome from W. MI.

A couple of thoughts - you'll hear people speak of "AgriJeeps", but technically these weren't just any Jeep outfitted with some implements, they were really the first "civilian Jeeps", put together as prototypes to demonstrate the civilian market viability of the army Jeep in a post war era.

Also, the implements you speak of would have been dealer installed, rather than at the factory.

There's some info on accessories at the CJ3B site:
    http://www.film.queensu.ca/CJ3B/Tech.html

    Ramsey PTO rebuild guide:
    http://www.willystech.com/wt/homepage/webpagelisting.htm

The "Amazing" Dr. Vern has some details on a PTO winch install:
    http://www.vernco.com/pto/

Again, welcome to the site! Any pics of your Jeep?

You probably have a Stratton lift. Mine came w/ the lift and a 250lb bumper weight, coil helper springs full pto w/ pto cover implement lift grading bucket combo and was powerlocked front and rear.
    Whatcha need to know?

thanks for the site info. i'm going through it. cj5 body vin # shows sept.-oct 1960. vin# on block is blank, i read if the block was shaved it would whipe these # out. could have frame #, but i,m not going to do that now. told also the cj3 has wheel base of 80"/ cj5 is 81". haven't measured it yet. has the stratton lift set-up back, koring winch in front. that should help give me an idea of the date on the frame, drive train. thanks, pete
