I will be re wiring my 1974 CJ5, and I will be using a universal wiring harness. I would really like to get my hands on wiring diagram so I know what all the switches and connectors are from the factory. I have a 1977 wiring diagram (Not even close to mine), and I have found older ones online. Anybody know where I can Find one?

I could probably send you a copy if you still need it. I have the diagram for a 74 from the FSM. I don't think it is any different then the 72. Let me know.

I have a Microstation drawing of a '75 diagram that I copied out of the Chiltons or Haynes manual, if yer interested. Not a LOT of difference between the '74 and '75 but enough that you may need to be careful.

Somewhere in 74-75 Jeep went from inline fuses to a fuse block, so there may be a lot of difference in the wire routing across that span. However, the controls will be almost identical, and the circuits should be very close. In '72, IIRC Jeep used the black bakelite knobs on the controls, and in '73 went to the modern rubbery knobs, but I think the layout is the same across the intermediates (72-75). There's also a change in the heater control panel between 72 and 73, but again I think it's only the appearance and materials that are different.

Try going to autozone. They will have a wiring diagram on their website.
