Not a Jeep but sort of related and definatly a fabrication. I was in need of a table and wanted somthing that would be square and level and stay that way. I have more work to do to it but have other projects to get done. I have a peice of 1/2" plate on it for now so I can use it.

Wow. How much does that weigh? Is it difficult to move by yourself? I could use one of those in my shop!

Well I got the material for free, so close enough to having it laying around. It's not to bad to move around once you get it moving. I think I may end up putting some heavier casters on it (it does weigh a fair amount and I'm not done yet). It's kind of overkill but I wanted something that would stand the test of time (I'm kind of hard on equipment). I have built a few in the past with half the support and could flex them while striagthening some thing out. Thanks for all the compliments. It will be a while before I get back to working on it but here are some pics of it as of last night already in use.

I like it, portable frame straightening rack, hydraulic tube bending jig,
table to store that unused D9 dozer on.;)
Severe case of overkill, but hey the material was free and ya can't beat that with a stick.:D

Very cool! If you've got the materials and the space for it, why not? Sure ain't gonna break it. I think I'd round off some of those sharp corners though, looks like some shin-busters.

What colour ya gonna paint it?

For something built like that I'd say "Battleship" gray would be the appropriate choice:)

    p.s.- Nice Work!
