clutch linkage on 74

you now when you have an auto problem, ex. electrical, all the batteries in you fleet down to the lawn tractor die. This summers problem has ben clutchs....prev post still having issues w/my ford. so my 74 has become the daily driver, clutch pin sheered. assume comin after 31yrs, had to get R done so I jerried a 3/8ths rod and ground a nut round to put the plastic bushing on. double nutted good to go. haven't had time to find replacement, checked 4wd.com didn't show just the pin whole assemble for a C note any ideas????

 

must be a boring subject..... I've seen more conversation about seat belts. I'll check a bone yard.

The ball-stud seems to be the weakest part. It's common (and easy) to replace the rods and rod ends using heim joints.

 

Thanks Tim. I was just curious if they offer the ball stud sep. What I really need to do is call them. The ford has set my jeep budget to the back burner. But with out the truck there is no jeep budget.

 

I am pretty sure I just bought the ball stud alone from Quadratec when I rebuilt my CJ6. I'll have to look for ya'

with the mounting bracket and ball stud, perfect.......quadtratec is new to me. I'll order it today, thanks again:stout:
