    well, more fall out from my stupidity. Got the new MegaSquirt built and hooked it up this morning. Found out I fried one of my injectors and damaged the other one when the computer fried. I use Holley Performance injectors and they are back ordered until 9/20. So no wheelin until the end of the month.

    I have implement the changes top make sure this problem never occures again. It has just been a very expensive learning curve. Oh well,

    I feel your pain.
    When I fired up my Megasquirt I also fried some parts. But fortunately in my case, the components were not too expensive.

    I hope we aren't putting anybody off to Megasquirt by talking about the problems we've encountered. Overall, I feel that Megasquirt has been a great learning experiance and a lot of fun too!

    I agree. I think the project is great. And my problems were due to my decision to not build the over-current protection in the beginning. So it is not a problem with the design of the system. It was user error.
