Herculiner. I was debating between Herc and Durabak...Herculiner was cheaper and easier to obtain for me. :D

Pretty fast - It drys faster with higher humidity and higher temps...I have been just constantly putting coats on it. I have less than 1 quart left now. I put between 4-5 coats on it. :D

Much better shape than my '74. You still have all the tub with no patches!!! I have found that even with 2 weeks of drying time my HERCULINER is still a bit tacky. Cardboard sticks to it after a period of time. Rubber floor mats stick to it (more like bonding). Of course it has been applied and kept in the garage all this time, not under the sun. Guess I will take it out to the sun.. :?

I Herc'd the TJ tub several years ago. Still in good shape. There's places I wish it were thicker but no biggie.

    Looks good!

SSDutch's tub was done by the PO...but I gotta hit it again. Hoping to do the smooth Durabak - Herculiner is just too rough for me. Hard to clean out.

I can't really believe how well the tub has held up. I have all orginal sheet metal, and motor and trans. I have a T18/D20 swap I am going to do, in the near future. This has been more of a longish project, the motor runs great, I am going to swap out the plugs today, and do some parts painting...Put the cage back in and seats. I have some little issues to make it NC "road worthy" and then well I'll drive it and work on it at the same time. :AMC:

Sounds like a great project. Just pulled mine out of the garage today after applying 16 rattle cans of Cherry Red paint. Almost matched the Red HERCULINER bed liner rolled in a couple weeks ago. Close enough anyway. Can't wait to get out and scratch it up.

You know those $2 handles you can buy at Home Depot, really make shooting rattle cans much easier...I feel like I have much more control. Best $2 spent to apply good ole Rusoleum. :D

Yep...just keep an eye on things to make sure the handle doesn't spin on the paint can. You get many drips if that happens... ;)

I agree, came out better than expected. Don't get me wrong though, it does have drips and rough spots, just won't matter when it rubs the first few sets of trees on the trail. :)
