every now and then . I see one in junkyard
fiberglass . one bump . insurance writes it off
on another note . I've also seen some at car show sporting a sideways V8

 

I had an 88 formula in high school. Car was a blast to drive and we were going to transverse mount a spare 350 I had in it but a guy decided stop signs were optional and tagged the front end. Barley cracked the Fiberglass but insurance called it toast. Probably a good thing the V8 didn’t happen.

 

Fiero's were not fiberglass, but used SMC ( similar) and molded urethane doors, fenders and bumpers.
Had an 85, front end would get light when you approached triple digit speeds.....

 

Always thought the nose was fiberglass. Learn something new everyday!

 

The only memorable thing about the Fiero was the hot vapor engine that Smokey developed..

 

‘88 Fiero’s were one-year-only; pretty special. Many updated parts in steering and suspension.
