Any recs for brands/types of paint for refinishing Oem side mirrors. They’re black and very faded but otherwise fine. Thanks.

Restorium has a new paint out in a spray can, it comes out very smooth and hard, just saying, works good for me on old bikes.

Haven't had any problems with any of the Sem products.
Always keep some Rustoleum on the shelf also.
Used then hammered texture black Rustoleum on the battery hold downs I made for the TJ. seems to hold up well. A slightly bumpy finish.

This is my go to black spray paint. Takes a long time to dry but holds up well.

Does that give more of a flat or a matt type finish?

An epoxy paint should hold up for a long time.
That looks like it would work well.
I sure like the longevity of epoxy primer, so I'm sure the epoxy paint would also.
I'll keep that in my memory bank for sure.

That stuff goes on nicely but it chips easily. It is what I used for my 3B front bumper.

Pete, it's Ace not Rustoleum, I used it on a project is needs no primer and comes out real shiny. Ace Rust Stop, Protective Enamel, comes in spray cans or Brush On, both lay down real flat and smooth. Not too expensive either.
