Yeah, it's just something to play around with, even if it's a mosquito fogger;) On my last engine run test, the 302, I had the complete exhaust which is in my bronco(only had 11k miles on it)~ I just don't like loud noises, but funny enough, when I ran another 298, it really wasn't all that loud unless revving up alot.

There was an old tale that running with open exhaust would warp the exhaust valves due to cold air entering the exhaust manifolds or headers after shutdown.
So if that resonates with you, stuff rags into the collectors after shutdown.

I wouldn't be too concerned. I've run this beast on open headers without issue...and hearing protection. WHAAAT! What'd you say? 20190615_164946.jpg

That's fairly close There used to be a rail line between Cresson and Wford but was abandoned. There is a wall painting in the Whistle Hills Cafe (on the square) of the train going to Cresson. great food!

I used to go to the race track there to do track days in Cresson. Those days are gone, but not forgot.

The carburetor which came with the 1976 Valiant(Im sure wasn't stock) well, obviously had been on there for quite some time. As you can imagine, well, proceed and see what I can do with it. I don't want to buy a new carburetor just for this test run of an engine, So a carb kit and few other parts are trickling in.

So, I have a media blaster, so I blasted it and I'm satisfied that I can make this carb work until further notice;);)

I blew the heck out of it and all passages are clear~ I Think it's going to work!

I have some carburetor paint, so threw some of that on it followed by a high heat clear coat.

Then I've ordered some 3/16 set screws to plug these smog holes, never saw that coming. A googled image.

hm, waiting for intake, waterpump, fuel pump gaskets.

Aw, heck, I've run carburetors that look a *heck* of alot worse than that, you'll be fine, especially as clean as you got it in the blaster.

I've been playing with this Hurst Pro-match shifter, kind of messing with the little brain. I don't really need it to go through gears in a ratchet fashion, just park, Reverse, N, and drive. Things I get myself in to! lol

I found a guy that installed this in his early A body. This factory cover works well, that I bought earlier, says the ash tray bottom may have to be cut off, and the cover will be more like a 'prop' ;)

I've been looking for seats~ these are relatively cheap, one would need some repair. What cha think? at least they're mopar;) I'd have to go take some measurements, mainly for the rear seats. I kind of wanted red interior, but these would be ok if I can make them fit. Need some leather cleaner and conditioner I'd say.

I Like these, but the price is a little more than I want to spend. It's just kind of fun shopping

Darn, really? Just not sure how to handle connecting the electrical in the seats., the back seat looks huge lengthwise, but might be the camera angle
