Not recommended for rock crawling. Hmm...

 

The Ford Raptor uses a tru-trac in the front differential. Prior to that use they weren’t recommended for tires over 33 I think by Eaton. Maybe they have changed their recommendation now. Id also say that given they manufacture the Detroit locker and Eaton e-locker, their rock crawling note may be more to get one to spend $ differently. I sue mine in the front for everything and it is great.

 

I followed the links that @dnb5853 posted. I had searched Summit’s site a number of times but that Dana 30 unit never came up. All they show for a 1974 Jeep are Dana 44 Truetrac. Go figure.

Anyway, I ordered it as well as the install kit and some other stuff.
