Never used it, bought and mounted on the back of my rollbar with mounts via Amazon. It's there for looks on my rig.

I mounted it between the tire and top on the top of the tire rack.

I made hand screws to secure it-no tools needed to install. It's a PIA when you can't get the jack without tools, quickly.

I use it every trip for something.

You probably have a tail gate, but in case you do not here is how I mounted mine. A long long time ago when using my PTO winch I pulled off my stock rear bumper and had to build a new one. I turned out to be perfect for mounting my wagon jack. It also gave me a perfect spot on the ends of the bumper to use for a jacking spot for my jack.

I’m leaning towards bolting that holder to the draw bar. Gonna play around with it when we are at the cabin for Thanksgiving.

Yep, the best mounting is a wall bracket in the garage.

I have one, but I usually just keep it in the barn. I do use it for chores around my little farm, and when I go fishing with Jeep I take it along lashed to the roll bar.

The reason I take it along on fishing trips is that years ago I got stuck in a creek bed. I had no winch on that Jeep, but I did have a Hi-lift jack mounted across the frame horns up front, with some stout hemp rope wrapped around the bumper. One of these jacks and a rope or strap can serve to winch the Jeep out of a fix. Its a little like eating pudding with a knitting needle, but it will work.

I've already got too much stuff in the back, gas can, shovel. So I put on the hood with some brackets I found on ebay.

I like to drive with the windshield folded down when I am out in the field. Looks like that mounting would interfere with that ?

Y’all keep your jacks mounted. I already ditched mine. I’m ditching my spare tire next!

One thing to point out if you keep your jack mounted to the Jeep, and it sees any weather, you better keep the lift part of the jack lubricated and preferably covered.

I had to help a guy change his tire with my jack one time because his jack had sat in his cool looking mount for a long time exposed to weather and it was totally locked up and useless.

Yes it interferes, but I rarely if ever have the windshield down. I'd get a ticket.

When, and where I drive with the windshield down I am not anywhere near where I would worry about getting a ticket.

I tow mine with the windshield down. Used the jack on the farm a lot but they are heavy and I don't have a spare.
Almost 20 years without a spare. But it helps that my tires are 8000ply with 2000ply inner tubes.
