Throttle Pedal

I hated my stock gas pedal as well. I do a lot of low speed mud crawling and it's so hard to have gentle throttle control while suspending your foot in the air. I reached out on the forum on this topic years ago and got some pretty good input, I'll try to find that thread and link it for you. I ended up with a DIY floor pedal conversion that definitely improved driveability, but it was not a permanent solution so I am having to give this more attention soon as well.

 

you can zoom in on my pic, but here’s how my gas pedal is sitting for distance compared to the brake pedal height.
I can have my foot on the floor to operate it.

 

My linkage looks like this. The pivot and pedal have a 2" swing for full travel. I had the special bracket, but wasn't fitting snuggly, so I added a chunk of metal to the bracket.
Now the pivot only moves 1" for full travel and my pedal location is ok now.
