I previously listed this for $15K both here and elsewhere and had some interest but I wasn't mentally ready to sell because it was my dad's and he had too recently passed away. Now it's some months later and I'm dropping the price because I need my garage back before the fall. I'm ready to let this thing go.

It's super clean, runs great, drives great, and needs nothing. It's a head turner every place it goes. Dauntless V6-225 odd fire motor, Muncie SM420 4-speed transmission, Dana 25 front differential, Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 44 rear differential with 4.88 gears, Warn overdrive, power steering. No rust. Restoration and rebuild is complete unless you wanna keep tweaking with it. You could make it a project if you wanted to, but it’s solid enough to be a daily driver and is off road ready right now. No top other than the bikini but have original doors and lots of spare parts. Currently registered and clean title in hand. I am about 30 miles east of Sacramento in Cameron Park, CA.

Only notable thing that you can't tell from the pics is that it is not a full floating rear end anymore. Those rear locking hubs were trouble for a long time and constantly jamming up. I'm no expert but I heard that is common. I took it to a custom 4x4 shop and they fabricated a spacer to disengage the lockers. The hubs now do nothing and the rear axles are locked all the time. You could un-do that if you wanted, but for me it was never worth the hassle to be always messing with the hubs. I do have the bar for flat towing to give to the new owner.

Recently done work to make this thing ready for sale includes fixing that issue with the hubs, bracing the steering box, a tune up with carb adjustment, and all the fluids have been changed. This thing is ready for a new home.

Really nice Jeep. I'm sure it wont be easy to see it go. I know it wasn't easy for me to see Posi go. But the Jeep went to a really great new owner and it's getting used. That will hopefully be your experience when you sell this Jeep. We're practically neighbors. I live in the Carson Valley off of Johnson Lane.

Thanks for the encouragement. I do hope it goes to somebody who appreciates it.
