Original Seat Belts

I don't have much to add, but I did pick up a set of NOS Jeep seat belts for my RenI build. They are the same as what Zoomer posted and the same as what was in my RenI when I brought it home. The NOS ones I found have a manufacture date of March 1971 and came with the retractors. The belts originally in my RenI also had retractors attcached.

 

Thanks. Just curious, where did you find the NOS seatbelts. eBay?

 

Craigslist actually. Totally random and only 20 minutes from my house. I didn't know the manufacture date until i picked them up.

 

Interesting. I just looked up Craigs list Fresno and some unrestored older style metal Jeep seat belts were listed. Kind of surprised me. Thanks.

Thanks. So does she have the metal Jeep seatbelt buckle logo tags as well? If so, amazing work.

 

I’m not sure, as I have the older metal buckles - which she was able to rechrome, along with the original tongues.
