    Hey All!

I bought a set of Energy Suspension PN: 2.4101G body mounts.

The bolts holding the body of my Jeep to the Chassis appear to be mostly if not all 5/16" diameter. From what I have read, the hardware should be 3/8".

What I am confused about is the bushings from Energy have 9/16" holes...
Should I make some bushings to go in the pucks for 3/8" hardware, or do you just install them sloppy?

    Thanks in advance!

I have that kit sitting on my toolbox right now... I would not put a bushing in it unless the bushing is passing through the frame side hole. If you put a bushing against the frame and body it'll make a rigid connection and cause issues.

I could see drilling out the frame side and having a metal core with bushings on both sides of the frame tab like the 2.4102g
You can get generic pucks like these at 16 for $22 they would be good for the underside if you double up above and below the tabs since they don't see a normal load.

I believe I used all 7/16" bolts. The hole in puck won't know know what size bolt it has.

    JW60,

Where did you find those generic pucks for that price?

When I start taking the old mounts out I will see what size holes are available.

    Vtxtasy,
Did you use carriage bolts? Did you go with 2" fender washers top and bottom?

    Thanks again!

I just used standard bolts. On the back bushings I used the tire tread style of bushing as they don't stick out from the body. I used some oversized washers
to spread the load or adjust the height as necessary. Not the thin body washers. Don't be surprised to see different gaps between the body and the mounts.
