I was looking to install some inside the frame headers from Advanced Adapters on my 68 CJ-5. Most of the post I find on these specific headers are pretty old and any links I find are dead. Does anyone know if the inside the frame headers are still available from Advanced Adapters or if there is a recommended alternative?

    Thanks in advance.

So, you weren't able to get in touch with the folks that make em? and just curious, what exhaust is on it right now? Gets kind of pricey on the Novak headers, but then also having customized exhaust from the headers back gets pretty pricey.

I haven't tried calling but that's a good idea, I was just searching on the web and hit dead ends for the AA products. Mine has the stock exhaust. See attached pictures. Im in the middle of rewiring everything since the previous owner botched it and I plan on doing a engine rebuilt. So I was looking for some headers.

Well Cool~ though not the genuine stock exhaust, these will serve until you get the jeep running well~ the exhaust can always be addressed down the road. Get your wiring done, or most of what you need to get done~ wiring can be a little tedious;) try not tackle too much at once~ wiring, brakes, seat belts(I feel are quite important in these old things), and steering of course! I'm sure there are other concerns;)

Perhaps you could find some headers just like what's on it now, but new, or perhaps remove those, sandblast them, repaint with high heat paint. But I still think you have plenty going on~ you start on one thing, opening a hornets nest, then kind of snowballs in fixin a lot of things! lol

Sanderson makes them for Novak. I’m planning on getting a set for my Jeepster. I have some old outside the frame Hooker headers on my CJ.

The ones in the pictures are outside the frame rail headers. I just purchased the Novak/Sanderson inside frame rail headers (not yet installed) and they are fantastic quality, very well made.

I modified the novak/sanderson headers to give them a mandrel bend, going to a v clamp and then dog leg over the trans/transfer case crossmember. Also added a sensor bung for future EFI. Will remove once finished with plumbing brakes and wiring to get ceramic coated. The rest of the mandrel bent tubing is stainless and collects behind the transfercase to a stainless muffler and then out. (Not yet finished).
Did not like the almost non existent collector and flange so gave it an easier flowing path.

Just a note - the "Sanderson Headers" for a 231/225 are not the same as the ones from Novak, but are made by "Sanderson" for them. I helped Eric at Novak design these and they are specifically built for our jeeps. They clear Saginaw conversions and are move for the full size starter on the PSide.
